In the Universe BoxOffice app, you can view Check Ins and Sales for your events from the ‘Dashboard’ tab. The Dashboard allows you to see data for events up to 1 year in the past. By default this tab will show data from events in the previous 90 days.
To filter your data, tap the filter icon on the top left-hand side of your screen.
On the filters screen, you will see five filtering options under Based on the event: 'By event’, 'By date’, 'By timeslot', 'By ticket type’ and ‘By add-on’. Under the Based on the transaction section, there is an additional filter option for ‘Sale/check in time’, allowing you to see past event scan and sell data. All events that match your current filter settings will appear below, under Event results.
Note: The filters applied in the Dashboard tab and the filters applied in the Sell, Scan or Guestlist tabs are separate.
How to View Check In Data
In the Check Ins tab, you have the ability to separate check in data to view the number of tickets or number of add-ons scanned in. You can also view all check in data combined.
In the Check Ins tab, you can also view a breakdown of check ins by ticket type / add-ons and can track the number of tickets each teammate has scanned in.
How to View Sales Data
In the Sales tab, you have the ability to separate onsite sales from all sales as well as cash sales from credit card sales.
In the Sales tab, you can also view a breakdown of sales by ticket type / add-ons as well as by the purchase channel (web sales vs. onsite sales).
Allowing Team Members to View Sales Data
If you have added another Universe user to your account as a team member, you can allow them to view Sales data.
Users that have been added as Team Members to your Universe account with ‘Access to At-the-door (via the BoxOffice app) to scan and sell tickets onsite' permissions will be able to view the Check-In tab of the Dashboard.
In order to allow a Team Member to view the Sales tab, they must also have the 'Reporting and managing attendees' - ‘Access sales and ticket data on the event and account dashboards, and through integrations' permission enabled. If this permission is not enabled, they will not be able to view Sales data in BoxOffice.
