Note: The features mentioned in this article are only available on Timed-Entry events. Features mentioned below are not available on Regular events.
Unsure of the difference? Please see: Regular events vs. Timed-entry events
The Schedules page on a timed-entry event allows you to add, delete, or edit timeslot schedules. From the calendar, you can also delete individual timeslots.
Note: Timed-entry events can have up to 30,000 timeslots per listing.
How to update the time displayed on tickets and at checkout
Use the Time displayed on ticket and checkout dropdown on the Schedules page to choose how timeslot times appear to buyers on their tickets and at checkout.
You can select either:
- Start and end time
- Start time only
This setting applies to all schedules created on the event.
How to edit a schedule
- Open the Event Manager of your timed-entry event and go to the Schedules page, located under Event Information.
- On the right side of the page, you will see a list of all existing schedules for this event. Each schedule includes a breakdown of the date range of timeslots, the repetition scheme, and the total number of timeslots within that schedule.
- From the list, select the pencil icon beside the schedule you would like to edit.
- From the pop-up window, select the field you would like to edit, such as the start date, duration, repetition scheme, and/or date of last occurrence.
- Adjust the setting as desired.
- Once updated, click Edit x timeslots in the bottom right corner.
- Repeat this process for each schedule you would like to edit.
- Once complete, return to the main Schedules page and click Save to publish your changes.
Note: Dates, durations, and repetition settings are all editable unless you have already sold tickets that are configured to the existing settings, or if it relates to a timeslot in the past. If this is the case, the field will be greyed out. If you need to reschedule a timeslot that has tickets already sold, learn more here.
How to add a schedule
- Open the Event Manager of your timed-entry event and go to the Schedules page, located under Event Information.
- On the right side of the page, select the + Add timeslot(s) button.
- From the pop-up window, fill in the following fields:
- First, select the date your schedule is starting.
- Next, add the timeslot(s) for this schedule.
- Choose if/when this schedule repeats.
- If your schedule is set to repeat, choose a last occurrence. This can either be selected from the date picker or manually entered into the field.
Note: Manual date entry format will be Month-Day-Year, with the month abbreviated. For example: Apr 18, 2026 or Nov 7, 2024.
- Once these details are added, select the Add x timeslots button in the bottom right corner to save your changes and return to the Schedules page.
- Repeat this process for each schedule you would like to add.
- Once complete, return to the main Schedules page and click Save to publish your changes.
Note: You will not be able to add a new schedule if it is in conflict with an existing schedule. For example, there cannot be two timeslots with the same date, start time, and duration. If this error occurs, review your proposed schedule settings against your existing calendar and edit your schedule to remove duplicate timeslots. Once the conflict is resolved, you will be able to save your new schedule.
Note: You will not be able to save a new schedule if it will cause the event to exceed the 30,000 timeslot maximum. If this occurs, review your proposed schedule settings against the existing total timeslots on your event. This information can be found at the bottom of the main Schedules page. Reduce the number of timeslots to add to your event, or create a new event to accommodate a larger schedule extension.
How to delete a schedule
- Open the Event Manager of your timed-entry event and go to the Schedules tab, located under Event Information.
- On the right side of the page, you will see a list view of all existing schedules.
- From the list, select the trash can icon beside the schedule you would like to delete. This will delete all timeslots related to the date, time, and repetition settings.
- Repeat this process for each schedule you would like to delete.
- Once complete, click Save to publish your changes.
The timeslot(s) associated with the schedule you delete will no longer show to ticket buyers, in your Event Manager, or in reports.
Note: Schedules cannot be deleted if you have already sold tickets to it, or if the date is in the past. If this is the case, the trash can icon will be greyed out. If you need to quickly take a timeslot off-sale that has tickets sold, you can use the toggles on the Timeslots page. Learn more here.
Note: Deleting a schedule will reduce the total number of timeslots against your 30,000 timeslot maximum per listing.
