Buyers can change the date and time of their order by using the self-serve move order feature.
Allowing buyers to change the date and time of their order is disabled by default and can be turned on at any time from the Advanced Settings page.
When the ability to change the date and time of an order is turned on, buyers can move their whole order to a new date and time from their My Tickets page and the View Order page of their account.
Orders can only be moved if the same ticket type at the same price is offered, and if capacity allows.
Tip: This feature is available on both Timed-Entry and Regular events.
Note: There are no additional fees collected with this feature.
To Enable Buyers To Change The Date and Time of Their Order For Your Event:
- Log-in to your Universe account, go to your My Events page, and select the event you would like to manage.
- From your 'Event Manager', select the 'Advanced Settings' option from the menu down the left side of your screen.
- In the 'Advanced Ticketing' section at the top of the page, locate the 'Allow buyers to change date and time' setting. Click the dropdown menu and select your preference.
Note: This option will be greyed out if your event page has only one timeslot. To add another timeslot, navigate to the 'Event Information' menu. On a regular event you can add additional timeslots from the ‘Time and Location’ page. On a timed-entry event you can add additional timeslots from the ‘Schedules’ page.
