Checkout filters allow you to show a filter for a combination of quantity, ticket type and time of day in your event checkout flow and on the single-listing calendar widget. When a buyer uses a checkout filter, they can easily find timeslots that accommodate their preferences eliminating having to manually click through each day and timeslot to find availability.
Filter by Group Size
The Ticket Quantity Filter allows buyers to filter for a specific number of tickets and view only dates/timeslots that have capacity for their selection.
The available capacity can be across multiple ticket types. For example, if a timeslot has 1 VIP ticket and 2 General Admission tickets remaining, the timeslot will show to a buyer who sets a group size of 3.
Filter by Time of Day
The Time of Day Filter allows buyers to filter for a specific time of day and view only dates/timeslots that have availability for their selection.
When this filter is turned on, buyers will have 3 options to select from: ‘Morning (before 12PM)’, ‘Afternoon (from 12-5PM), and ‘Evening (after 5PM)’.
Filter by Ticket Type
The Type of Ticket Filter allows buyers to filter for a specific ticket type (eg. General Admission, VIP) and view only dates/timeslots that have availability for their selection.
Note: By default, checkout filters are turned off on all events.
To turn checkout filters on or off:
1. Log-in to your Universe account, go to your My Events page and select the event you would like to manage.
2. From your Event Manager, select the Checkout Settings option from the menu down the left side of your screen.
3. Select the toggle beside ‘Filter by group size’, ‘Filter by time of day’, and/or ‘Filter by type of ticket’.
4. When enabled, the filter(s) will appear within your event’s checkout flow and on the single-listing calendar widget.
Note: Checkout filters will not appear on the 'all events' embeddable calendar widget. When selling tickets on a website using the all events embeddable calendar widget, buyers will see the filter(s) once they enter checkout by selecting the ‘Get Tickets’ button.
