On Tuesday, July 6th 2021 Universe released an update to our Event Manager page. This update has changed the location of some settings on the Basic Information page, but all features will remain the same.
This update was created based on feedback from event organizers in order to simplify managing and updating your event.
What's Changing:
The Basic Information page has been changed from one long page into four more easily manageable sections. These sections are:
- Basics
- Time & Location
- Tickets
- Additional Details
This mirrors the four steps in our current event creation flow when you create your first event on Universe. This will make it easier to find and update information on the Basic Information page; which is now our new Event Information section.
We have also updated some of the descriptions on the page to make the Event Manager easier to understand and navigate.
Legacy View
If you decide that you prefer the old look of the Basic Information page you can change back to the previous layout from the Basics tab, by clicking the "Use Legacy Basic Information" link
