Make sure your biggest fans are online and ready to go when your tickets are released! Fans who sign up ahead of time will be notified by email right before tickets go on sale, so they never miss a beat.
How to set up Remind Me on your event
To set up Remind Me, click the cog icon beside your ticket type, and make sure to set a “Start ticket sale” date and time. This ticket type should also have an “Active” status. If you have multiple active ticket types, they will all need to have a “Start ticket sale” date and time set to activate Remind Me.
Once you’re finished setting up the ticket types and their on sale date and time, scroll down the page and make sure to toggle the Remind Me feature on and save once you’re finished with your changes!
You can set this up in the initial event Create Flow or in the Event Manager > Event Information > Tickets section.
As you publish your event, the Remind Me period will begin.
Making changes to your listing:
If you add any further active ticket types, please note you’ll have to re-enable Remind Me!
Note: Your tickets cannot be edited within the 24-hour period before your "Remind Me" emails are sent to fans. For example, if ticket sales begin on October 20 at 7 AM, edits will be locked from October 19 at 7 AM until sales begin. You’ll be able to make updates again once this window has passed.
Locked Tickets, Access Keys, and Hidden Ticket types:
If you have a locked ticket type which is available before the General onsale has started, fans can still use their Access Key while Remind Me is active! There will be a prompt at the bottom of the Remind Me sign up flow to add their access key.
Hidden ticket types do not have any impact on Remind Me. These will remain hidden and inaccessible to the general public.
Please navigate to the event level dashboard or your My Events page to see how many fans have signed up for your event’s Remind Me.
When will the Remind Me period end?
The Remind Me feature will end once ticket sales open to the general public. In the case of having multiple active ticket types with different ticket sale start times, the Remind Me feature will end once the first ticket start time has passed. For example, if your event date is October 31, and you have two active ticket types - one starting sales on September 25 and the other starting sales on October 1 - the Remind Me feature will end once tickets open to the general public on September 25.
Fan experience:
When fans land on your event display page, they will see a countdown letting them know when your tickets go on sale!
Here, they can sign up to be reminded via email so there’s no chance they’ll miss buying tickets. They can also opt in to join your marketing list (but make sure you’ve added your Privacy Policy to your Settings).
