Order Protection allows event attendees the opportunity to apply for a full refund if certain unforeseen circumstances occur (detailed by Booking Protect in their Terms and Conditions and they can no longer attend an event.
To check if an order is covered by Order Protection, navigate to the correct event > click Orders and Attendees > and on the Orders tab, enter the attendee’s name or email address into the search field.
Click the three dots (…) next to the person’s order and select View Order.
On the My Order page, an event host will be able see that attendee’s specific order and if the attendee opted in to Order Protection at the top of the page above the transaction receipt and also in the breakdown of the order’s fees.
If the order is covered by Order Protection, please direct the attendee to the Booking Protect portal where they can submit their claim. There is no further action required by the event host.
Note on availability: all Universe events located in the United States will have Order Protection enabled on their events by default.
