Enable Urgency Indicators to encourage buyers to purchase their tickets fast. If a day or time is close to selling out, visual prompts will appear at checkout to let buyers know to act quick.
How to enable Urgency Indicators on an event:
1. From your Event Manager, navigate to Event Information > Tickets.
2. Toggle ON urgency indicators beneath your ticket types. Please note that this will apply to all ticket types active on your listing.
Note: In order for urgency indicators to be enabled, tickets must have a timeslot capacity.
3. Select at which percentage of tickets sold you want the urgency indicators to appear from the dropdown menu.
4. Remember to Save.
Once active, Urgency Indicators will be visible to buyers at checkout once the designated percentage of tickets have been sold.
Percentage Thresholds
Note: If the overall timeslot capacity is less than 10 on an event, then selecting a percentage threshold will default to the exact number of tickets left.
For example:
i) a user selects urgency indicators at 80% for an event with a timeslot capacity of 10, and 8 tickets have been sold. This would display at checkout as:
ii) a user selects urgency indicators at 80% for an event with a timeslot capacity of 100, and 80 tickets have been sold. This would display at checkout as:
Note: This rule applies for all timeslots on an event with multiple times on a single day. Depending on timeslot capacity and percentage set, the checkout tool may show percentages and exact numbers:
Urgency Indicators for multi-timed events:
For event listings with multiple dates and times, Urgency Indicators may display differently on the calendar tool depending on how many tickets are sold per day, and per timeslot.
For instance, a visual indicator (fire icon) will appear on the calendar tool once enough tickets been sold over the percentage threshold set. However, for the icon to appear, this is calculated from the total tickets sold from all timeslots for that day.
An event may have an Urgency Indicator on one particular timeslot, but if the rest of the total tickets for that day are still available and not past the percentage threshold, then the calendar tool will not display the icon.
