When will tickets go on-sale?
Tickets for September and October go on sale July 19, 2022 at 10 AM CST. Please click HERE to book your tickets.
Tickets for November and December go on sale September 22, 2022 at 10 AM CST.
How much will tickets be?

Parking information
For VIP ticket holders, please park in the event walk-up spaces reserved for VIP ticket holders on site at the venue - 4801 La Crosse Ave, Austin, TX 78739.
For General Admission ticket holders, parking is just up the street from the venue. Please park at the following parking lot to access the free shuttles to/from the venue:

A shuttle will take you from the parking lot to the venue, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your start time for parking.

September hours - Thursday to Sunday from 6:45PM to 10:30PM
October hours - Thursday to Sunday from 5:45PM to 10:30PM
Times are subject to change by month, according to sunset times; please check the event website for latest hours.
VIP ticket holders may enter and leave the venue during hours of operation on the day listed on their ticket. General Admission guests must arrive during the timeslot listed on their ticket but are welcome to stay until it closes.
I bought tickets for an entry time, but I am running late, can I still enter later than my ticketed entry time? I bought tickets for an entry time, but need to come earlier now, can I enter earlier than my ticketed entry time?
VIP ticket holders may enter and leave the venue during hours of operation on the day listed on their ticket.
Missed your General Admission time slot? We will do our best to accommodate General Admissions guests who are running late but can’t guarantee availability due to venue capacity.
Unfortunately, General Admission ticket holders may not enter prior to your ticketed entry time but you may contact Customer Service to reschedule for an earlier time, pending availability.
I purchased tickets to the wrong date/time, what should I do? Are tickets refundable?
We completely understand these things happen! If you are unable to attend the event at your ticketed date/time due to an unexpected and unavoidable issue, Field of Light will offer a rebooking opportunity. Up to 24 hours prior to your ticketed event entry date/time, contact Universe Support with the following details to move your tickets:
- Email address used for purchase
- Current date and time
- New desired date and time
Please allow up to 24-48 hours for your refund to be processed.
Can I purchase tickets at the event?
All ticket sales are online. You can purchase day-of tickets online at the shuttle parking lot using a QR code and a mobile phone. We recommend purchasing the tickets online in advance to ensure that there are still tickets available before you arrive. Additionally, it is much faster to purchase tickets in advance, so this will help you avoid extra waiting time when you arrive.
I purchased a ticket, but didn't receive my confirmation email - what do I do?
In your inbox, search for an email from tickets@universe.com with the subject FIELD OF LIGHT. The email will contain your ticket for the event in the body of the email; there will also be a PDF that you can download and show at the door.
To view your order details and receipt on Universe, log in to your Universe Dashboard. Tickets can be found under 'My Tickets.' If you did not create a Universe account upon checkout, please contact us and we can resend your confirmation email.

How is the ticket redeemed?
After buying your ticket online, you will get a confirmation email with a barcode and QR code. We can scan your ticket directly from your mobile device, or you can print your ticket at home and bring it with you to be scanned at the entrance.
Can I purchase tickets as a gift? Do you have gift cards?
We think the gift of time with the ones you love most is the best gift you can give! You will need to know the date and time you would like to visit in order to reserve a ticket, so keep this in mind when planning a ticket purchase as a gift. Instead of using your own email address as the ticket email, please enter your intended recipient's email. Unfortunately, gift cards are not offered at this time.
Are tickets refundable?
As stated in our Terms and Conditions, all sales are final and non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend a show due to an unexpected and unavoidable issue, Field of Light will offer a rebooking opportunity. Prior to your ticketed event entry date/time, purchase a new order for a better date/time and then contact Universe Support with the details of the order to be refunded for the original date (ticket purchaser's name, date of your event, and the time slot). Please allow up to 24-48 hours for your refund to be processed.
What do I need to bring on the day of the event?
The event is outdoors, please accordingly for the weather. The event includes a self-guided walking tour along pathways primarily made of crushed granite, so please choose your footwear accordingly. A fantastic selection of locally-owned vendors will have food and beverages available for purchase at the event.

What happens if a date gets canceled due to weather etc.?
If an event gets cancelled due to weather, Field of Light will offer an opportunity via email to either reschedule your ticket or receive a full refund.
What is included in the VIP ticket?
VIP guests may enter Field of Light through their dedicated entrance lane at any time and stay for as long as they’d like. VIP includes access to preferred on-site parking, an elevated viewing deck with sweeping views of the installation, and dedicated restrooms. Food and drinks from local vendors will be available for purchase. VIP ticket holders may also access all the General Admission areas.
