On Saturday October 2, 2021, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic returns to Los Angeles at Will Rogers State Historic Park! Please see below for answers to the most commonly asked questions about the event.
Tickets
When will tickets be available for purchase?
Tickets for the 2021 Veuve Clicuot Polo Classic, Los Angeles will be available for purchase on sale Friday, August 6th through our American Express Presale, exclusively for American Express Card Members. General sale begins Friday, August 13th. Tickets can be purchased here
What types of tickets are available?
You can can purchase one of three ticket types: Picnic Lawn, Rosé Garden, and La Grande Dame Cabanas. Find more details on each experience here.
Can I upgrade my ticket?
Yes, if tickets are still available, we can upgrade your ticket. Please let us know what you would like to upgrade to, and we will issue you a new ticket.

Can I purchase and add-on after I've purchased my ticket?
If add-ons are still available, we can facilitate your purchase. Please let us know which ticket type you have and which add-on you'd like to purchase.
What happens if I lose my ticket?
Please check your email. You should have received an email from Universe with your ticket included right after purchasing.
If you still cannot locate your ticket, log in to your Universe account and select 'My Tickets'.
If you purchase tickets with American Express presale, will you have access for early entry?
To get early access to the event, you will need to purchase the Early Access add-on after selecting your tickets.
Can the names on the tickets can be changed before the event?
Tickets can be changed/ transferred up until the start of the event. Please see the appropriate article below for more information on how to do so:
The name on the ticket must match the name on the ID at check-in, in order for us to maintain correct contact information for all guests, abiding by health and safety regulations for live events and recommendations put forward by the CDC and the state of California.
Is one individual only needed to purchase the add-on for the sundeck?
Yes, one individual can purchase a sundeck for their group of 10 for Rosé Garden and group of 8 for Picnic Lawn. The sundeck purchases will be given additional “Reserved Space” wristbands upon check-in, to distribute at their discretion amongst their friends.
If you purchase the sundeck, you will have to be on site, and your friends will need to get their additional wristband directly from you to access the space.
All guests will also need to have an event ticket matching the tier in which the sundeck is purchased.
i.e. Everyone allowed in your Rosé Garden Sundeck, must already possess a Rosé Garden Event Ticket. Or, everyone allowed in your Picnic Lawn Sundeck, must already possess a Picnic Lawn Event Ticket.
How do our Sundeck guests access our Sundeck if we arrive separately?
If you purchase the sundeck, you will have to be on site, and your friends will need to get their additional wristband directly from you to access the space. "Reserved Space" wristbands will be given to you, the sundeck purchaser, upon check-in.
All guests will also need to have an event ticket matching the tier in which the sundeck is purchased.
i.e. Everyone allowed in your Rosé Garden Sundeck, must already possess a Rosé Garden Event Ticket. Or, everyone allowed in your Picnic Lawn Sundeck, must already possess a Picnic Lawn Event Ticket.
Will the add-on for the sundeck be first come first serve once you arrive at the event or is it pre-reserved for your group?
Upon arriving at Will Rogers, you will show your sundeck specific ticket, and we will bring you to your sundeck. Please note that the sundeck will be redeemed by the person who purchases it. That sundeck ticketholder must be on site to redeem the reserved space. Once the sundeck ticketholder checks in, they will be given wrist bands to distribute to their friends.
All of the sundecks are positioned to have optimal views.
Will the sundeck be private for only the specific people in that area?
In order to enter a sundeck, you will need to wear a "Reserved Space" wristband. The wristbands will be given to the sundeck purchaser upon check-in. The sundeck purchaser will then able to distribute the wristbands to their guests.
What is the difference between upgraded seating and lounge seating between Rose Garden and Picnic Lawn?
The Rosé Garden and Picnic Lawn sundecks are located in two different areas and experiences within the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.
To clarify, in order to purchase a Rosé Garden Sundeck, you must have purchased a Rosé Garden ticket. Similarly, in order to purchase a Picnic Lawn Sundeck, you must have purchased a Picnic Lawn ticket.
Everyone you invite to sit with you in this sundeck, must also possess an event ticket belonging to the corresponding area.
Both areas will provide some shade as well as seating.
The Picnic Lawn Sun Decks accommodate 8 guests (and come with 8 Reserved Space wristbands, for you to distribute at your discretion)
The Rosé Garden Sun Decks accommodate 10 guests (and come with 10 Reserved Space wristbands, for you to distribute at your discretion)
All guests accessing the Sun Decks, will need both an event ticket wristband and a Sun Deck wristband.
The décor and type of seating will vary to ensure it is representative of the area in which it is located.
Will there by shade or covering over the sundecks?
Yes, all sundecks, whether in Rosé Garden or Picnic Lawn, will have a covering.
What is included in a Picnic Lawn ticket?
The Picnic Lawn ticket includes general admission event entry with first come, first served open lawn seating. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Within the Picnic Lawn, you'll have access to champagne bars, merchandise tent, games, and photo moments.
When purchasing your ticket, you will also have the opportunity to add upgrades to your ticket for early access and a reserved sundeck.
What is included in a Rosé Garden ticket?
Rosé Garden tickets include exclusive access to the Rosé Garden with open lounge and picnic seating, one bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rosé champagne per person, and a gourmet picnic lunch. Guests will also benefit from a dedicated event entry point and priority boarding for return shuttles.
Throughout the Rosé Garden, guests will enjoy champagne bars, photo moments, a merchandise tent & photo booth.
When purchasing your ticket, you have the option to upgrade your ticket to enjoy a reserved sundeck that will provide prime viewing and comfortable seating for 10 guests (subject to availability)
What is included with the La Grande Dame Cabana?
Our La Grande Dame Cabanas offer the ultimate Polo Classic experience. This series of private and elevated luxury viewing platforms within the Rosé Garden, designed for groups of 10, includes dedicated butler service and security to oversee guests' needs, one bottle of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2012 by Yayoi Kusama Limited Edition per person, 2 additional glasses of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé per person, and a gourmet lunch and hors d'oeuvres.
Guests will also have complimentary valet parking and priority boarding for shuttles to and from check-in lot and event grounds.
La Grande Dame Cabana guests will also receive an exclusive invitation to a private La Grande Dame experience on October 1.

Can I cancel my ticket? Will I get refunded?
Tickets are non-refundable, unless there is an event cancellation.
What if the event is cancelled or rescheduled, will I be refunded?
The event is planned to take place rain or shine. However, if the event is cancelled for an unforeseen reason we will communicate about rescheduled dates and refunds at that time.
COVID-19
How are you approaching Covid? What are the restrictions?
The VeuvWe are committed to the health and safety of our guests. As part of the entry requirements for The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, all attendees must complete a health screening and provide proof of either full vaccination status or negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours of the event.
The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is partnering with CLEAR and is excited to utilize Health Pass to confirm your COVID-19 health insights. Follow our simple guide here to enroll for free and complete your Health Pass. Have your Health Pass ready before you arrive to show upon entry.

Having trouble with Health Pass? Reach out to the CLEAR team at clientservices@clearme.com or tap “Get In Touch” in the app for assistance.
Does CLEAR accept Covid-19 tests from all labs?
To complete your CLEAR Health Pass with a Covid-19 test, get tested at a CLEAR-approved testing, such as Quest Diagnostics, CVSMinuteClinic, or use a Vault Health at-home test.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Masks are not required on the Polo event grounds, but masks will be required to wear in any indoor spaces, on the shuttle to and from the event, and at times when you are less than 6 feet away from others.
Will there be Covid testing on site?
We are not planning for there to be Covid-19 testing on site, as all attendees and staff will confirm their Covid-19 health status through the Health Pass by CLEAR app.
Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?
Attendees will be required to present documentation of their Covid-19 health status through Health Pass by CLEAR app.
As guidelines continue to evolve, we are determining what documentation will be required. Documents may include a Covid-19 vaccination record or Covid-19 negative test result.
Do I need to bring my physical test results or vaccine card?
You do not need to bring physical proof of your Covid-19 negative test result or vaccination record. We will announce what documentation is required to attend the event closer to the date. All documentation will need to be uploaded to the Health Pass by CLEAR app prior to the event.
What if I'm showing symptoms of Covid-19?
If you are showing symptoms of Covid-19, please do not plan on attending this event.

What's the social distancing policy? Will seats be spaced out at least 6 ft?
Reserved seating is only available for those who upgraded to a Reserved Sundeck in the Picnic Lawn or Rosé Garden and for all La Grande Dame Cabanass. Unreserved space in the Picnic Lawn and Rosé Garden will be available on a first-come first-served at guests' discretion. We encourage you to social distance wherever possible and stay with your group.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Masks are not required on the Polo event grounds, but masks will be required on the shuttles to and from the event and at any other moments where you are less than 6 feet apart from other guests and indoors.
Has the event been pushed to 2022 given Covid-19 restrictions?
The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles is currently scheduled for October 2nd, 2021.
We are monitoring CDC guidelines closely and will be integrating Covid-19 safety protocols across the experience, as well as requiring guests to verify their health status; details of which will be shared closer to the date of the event.
Event Location
Where will the event be?
The 2021 Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will take place in Los Angeles at Will Rogers State Historic Park on October 2nd.
Please note that no dropoffs will be allowed at the park. Detailed information about parking and transportation will be provided closer to the event date via email.
Where is the event entrance?
There will be specific entrances for each ticket type. Ticket holders must adhere to designated drop-off and parking information based on their ticket type. Shuttle transportation to and from check-in lot and event grounds will be provided.

Will there be cell service?
Wi-fi will be available at the event. Coverage can sometimes not be guaranteed due to weather or other unexpected conditions.
Are there indoor spaces?
The event will be outdoors at Will Rogers State Historic Park. While there will be tented areas and umbrellas, we recommend wearing lightweight clothing and bringing sunscreen.
Are there restrooms?
Yes, restrooms will be available throughout the event space.
Are there tented or shaded areas?
The majority of the Picnic Lawn is out in the open, but we offer a Reserved Sundeck as a ticket add-on at checkout, which includes a covered area and seating for up to 8 people. Rosé Garden is also out in the open, but located in an area with a bit more natural shade. Guests have the opportunity to upgrade to a Reserved Rosé Sundeck with shade and spacious seating for up to 10 people. The La Grande Dame Cabanas will be located in shaded areas on luxury viewing platforms.
Veuve Clicquot umbrellas will also be available in limited quantities for purchase.
Is there seating at the event?
First come, first served open lawn seating will be available for the Picnic Lawn. Picnic blankets are encouraged! If you upgrade to a Sundeck, seating will be included. Rosé Garden tickets include exclusive access to open lounge seating and picnic seating. Seating on a luxury viewing platform will be also available in the La Grande Dame Cabanas.
Timing
When is the event?
The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will take place on October 2, 2021 at Will Rogers Historic State Park at 11AM-5PM.
When does the Polo match start?
The Polo match begins at 2pm. We suggest arriving before so you can secure your seat and settle in for the festivities!
What time does check-in close? When do the last shuttles leave for the event?
While check-in closes at 2pm, we encourage you to arrive closer to the event start time, 11am, to enjoy the day!
What time should I arrive?
Check-in time begins at 10:00AM and ends at 2:00PM although we recommend arriving closer to the start time to enjoy the day. Guests with an Early Access pass will have exclusive entry from 9:15AM-10:00AM.
Will doors close at any point?
Check-in closes at 2PM. Make sure to arrive before!
What time is this event over?
The event will conclude by 5pm with last call for food and champagne at 4pm. All shuttles will depart back to the check-in lots by 5pm.
Parking & Transportation
Can I be dropped off at the park?
Drop-offs at the Will Rogers State Historic Park will not be permitted due to road closures. Guests must be dropped off or park at the check-in lot corresponding to their ticket type.

Is parking included in my ticket?
Parking is not included in the price of Picnic Lawn tickets. It will be available for purchase on the day of the event.
While parking is included in the Rosé Garden and La Grande Dame Cabana tickets, we highly encourage being dropped off at the designated location, which will be shared over email closer to the event date.
Can I park at Will Rogers?
There will not be any parking at Will Rogers State Historic Park. Ticketholders will find transportation information on their tickets and via email. There will be designated parking lots and drop-off points for each ticket type. We highly encourage drop-offs as parking is first-come, first-served.
Can I Uber to and from the event?
Guests can use Uber drop-off and pick-up to arrive or depart from the event. Note that each guest must arrive or depart from their designated check-in lot.

Is there accessible parking?
Accessible parking will be available at each parking lot for anyone with a handicapped placard in their car or on their license plate. ADA shuttles will also be available at each parking lot to take guests to and from the Polo grounds.
If you are a Picnic Lawn guest, please check in with the information booth located next to shuttle drop-off for assistance. If you are a Rosé Garden guest, please reach out to the production staff for assistance when you arrive at check-in.
Food & Champagne
Can you pay for items at event with cash?
Cash and major credit cards will be accepted at the event.
Can I purchase food and champagne at the event?
Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event for Picnic Lawn ticketholders.
Rosé Garden ticketholders will receive an individual gourmet picnic lunch, included per ticket.
La Grande Dame Cabana ticketholders will receive an individual gourmet lunch and hors d'oeuvres.
Is champagne included?
Rosé Garden ticket price includes one complimentary bottle of Veuve Cliquot Rosé per person. Bottles can be redeemed in the designated Rosé Garden bars by presenting your champagne ticket, before 4pm. Additional champagne is available for purchase on-site.
La Grande Dame Cabana tickets include one bottle of La Grande 2012 by Yayoi Kusama Limited Edition champagne and 2 glasses of La Grande Dame Rosé , per person.
Champagne is not included in the Picnic Lawn ticket price. However, champagne can be purchased from the on-site champagne bar.
Can I bring food and water in to the event?
Factory-sealed water bottles and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. You may bring food as well, but it is subject to searching and confiscation at security's discretion.
What food will be available for purchase at the event?
There will be assorted gourmet picnic lunches and food trucks offering a variety of options.
Will there be vegetarian options available at the event? Vegetarian options will be available at the event.
Misc. Questions
Can I attend virtually?
There will be no external streaming or virtual activites for this edition of the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.
Will there be first aid?
A first aid unit will be available on-site.
Will there be lost & found?
All lost and found inquiries can be addressed at the information tent on-site.
Will there be security?
Security will be stationed throughout the event grounds and at each bar in the event of any safety concerns.
What should I wear? The Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic is an event to showcase and participate in the style and glamour of Polo!
Linen suits, sundresses, and the most daring of hats are encouraged.
Weather conditions vary, but high temperatures are expected throughout the day. Sunscreen, hats, and light clothing are recommended.

What happens if there is bad weather? Will you reschedule?
The event will take place rain or shine. Bring a matching umbrella in case of rain!
