What happens at the event? 

Skate underneath the historic Brooklyn Bridge while taking in the iconic views of the Manhattan skyline. Each skating session is 50 minutes.

 

Where is the event located? 

This is located at Emily Roebling Plaza at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

 

When does the event occur?

The ice rink is open from November 15-March 1.

Tickets:

Where can I purchase tickets?

We strongly recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time online here in order to guarantee date and time. Tickets can be purchased on site at the box office subject to availability.

 

Can I move my tickets to another date? 

Yes, you can move your tickets to another date with 24 hours advance notice.

 

Can I purchase tickets on site?

Tickets will be available to purchase on site at our box office pending availability. We recommend booking in advance.

 

Are skates included with my ticket?

You have the option to purchase tickets for Rink Admission + Skate Rental.

 

What is the difference between the online reservation options?

a. Rink Admission + Skate Rental – includes access to the ice rink and rented skates for each guest.

b. Rink Admission Only – includes only ice rink access for guests who bring their own skates.

What happens if I arrive late?

Late entry is permitted, but total skate time will be reduced for late arrivals.

 

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, you do not need to print your ticket. Please have your ticket ready on your smartphone upon arrival.

 

Do you offer discounted tickets?

Yes, a limited amount of free and discounted tickets are available for New York City residents.  Proof of New York City residency is required. Such identification includes: IDNYC, New York City Public Library Cards or a Driver’s License.

Do you offer group tickets?

Ticket discounts are available for groups of 10+. For information about group ticket sales please contact glidebksales@bseglobal.net.

 

Are tickets refundable?

Please note there are no refunds for any paid ticket. You can reschedule your own tickets up to 24 hours prior to your session by checking your ticket confirmation for rebooking info.

Can I get a refund? 

All ticket sales are final, and tickets are non-refundable. 

 

Skates:

Is there a minimum age to skate?

There is no minimum age, but all children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

What size skates do you offer?

The smallest skate offered is a child’s size 6. The largest skate offered is a men’s size 14.

Can I bring my own skates?

Skaters are welcome to bring their own skates. Please purchase a Rink Admission ticket only at checkout.

Do you offer skate sharpening? 

Yes, we provide skate sharpening.

Do you have skate aids?

Yes!  Skate aids are available for purchase on site. Availability is first come, first served.

 

Parking & Transportation:

Is parking available? 

Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park does not have a parking lot on site and parking is extremely limited in the area. We encourage all guests to take public transportation.

 

How can I arrive via public transportation? 

Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park is easily accessible via the F Train (get off at York Street) and the A/C Trains (get off at High Street). You can also take the NYC Ferry (South Brooklyn route) to the DUMBO/Fulton stop.

 

Is there a Lyft/Uber drop off location? 

In the ride share app, we recommend selecting Emily Warren Roebling Plaza as your pickup/dropoff location.

 

Accessibility:

Are wheelchairs permitted on the ice rink?

Wheelchairs are permitted on the ice rink.

Where is Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park?

The ice rink is located at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

 

Do you have a café?

Yes, Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park has a café with snacks as well as hot drinks and other beverages.

 

Can I bring my own food and beverage?

Outside food and beverage is not permitted.

 

Do you have a bag or shoe check?

We strongly discourage guests from bringing unnecessary bags and backpacks into the venue. No bags will be permitted on the ice. Oversize bags and luggage will not be permitted at any time. Complimentary lockers are available for shoes and small bags. Guests may bring their own locks or purchase one on site. Also a paid bag check is available.

 

What is your weather policy?

Glide at Brooklyn Bridge Park is open rain or shine unless severe weather conditions occur. If the ice rink cannot operate, an email will be sent to the email address you used to purchase tickets and you will be able to reschedule your tickets for a later date.

 

Are restrooms available?

Yes, restrooms are available on site.

 

Can I bring my pet?

Only trained and licensed service or guide animals are permitted however they are not allowed on the ice rink.
